Welcome to , your web-based window into the world of actuarial and financial modelling.
Introduction
's aim is to open up the world of actuarial and financial modelling to as many people as possible.
In order to do this we have tried to reduce complexity as much as possible.
All you need to be able to use is a working knowledge of Excel and a web browser - no programming knowledge and no fancy computer required!
How works
is an actuarial and financial modelling and forecasting system that allows you to build representative models of financial products.
You build a model in a predefined format in Excel and then upload the Excel spreadsheet to the website where it is verified.
Verified models can then be run against a set of data to produce a wide range of deterministic and stochastic results for management, financial, forecasting, and statutory requirements.

Item | Description |
---|---|
Model Spreadsheet | A Model Spreadsheet/ is a working Excel spreadsheet in a specific format that defines the data and calculations of the financial products your are modelling. |
Model Builder | The Model Builder is a component that takes a Model Spreadsheet and converts it into compiled computer code. |
Model | A Model is compiled computer code that encapsulates the data and calculations you specified in the Model Spreadsheet. |
Run Spreadsheet | A Run Spreadsheet is a set of directives, and optionally data, that tells the Calculation Engine what to calculate and what data to use in its calculations. |
Calculation Engine | The Calculation Engine is a component that executes the compiled code of a Model to produce a set of Results. |
Results | Results are stored in a database for later retrieval. |
All user interaction with is via the website.
